Complete Sweep Chimney Service uses the best tools available to clean and inspect your chimney, to include large HEPA vacuums to ensure that no dust enters the house. When we enter your home, we lay down drop clothes to protect your floor, and then bring in the HEPA vacuum for dust control. With the vacuum running we remove the damper blade to gain access to the smoke chamber and flue. Using flexible rods, we are able to run a brush up the flue from inside the house, effectively cleaning the entire length of the flue. Once the flue is clean we use a rotary brush to clean the smoke chamber, being sure to pull down all of the debris into the firebox area. Next, we clean the walls of the firebox, the throat area and damper blade with a heavy duty nylon brush. Now that all of the components of the fireplace are clean, the damper system is reinstalled, and the entire chimney system is inspected to make sure that it is in servicable condition.
